This book was really helpful because, unlike other books, which integrate information about Egyptian children into general information about Egypt, and I would have to extract bits of information from separate paragraphs, this book had a whole section on Egyptian children, and how they were valued and treated in Ancient Egypt. It also included pictures of Ancient Egyptian children in contrast to their parents, which provided a good insight into how children were viewed; they were depicted as very small compared to adults, but they were trusted to complete tasks that today, only adults would be allowed to do.

This book went through Cleopatra’s whole life in great detail. Although I did not need the information about her as an adult, it was interesting to learn how her childhood influenced her as an adult. It also included small but important details like how Cleopatra spoke seven languages, which could be integrated into my Museum of Childhood display. It also included information about the generations of her family before her. This helped because it shows how Cleopatra improved the reputation of her family, as her father was failing as a king before her; the people were unhappy under his rule.

This website was extremely helpful, because it was all about children of Ancient Egypt. Because of this, it had a lot more information about children themselves, had a lot more detail, and also included pictures. It is also split into sections e.g. Early Education, Children’s Daily Life, Pets and Toys, etc. which let me categorise my information into sections, so I wouldn't have to do it later. It was also straight to the point with no repeated information, and I found all the information it gave me necessary in my research, so I could include it in my notes.
